Family Counseling
We are all interconnected and this is even more apparent in a family setting. Lines of communication and understanding can be blurred, misinterpreted, and can practically disappear over time. How can a family unit function if we ourselves feel misunderstood or we can’t understand those around us?
My goal with families is to not become a necessary component for communication amongst its members but, instead, teach them to communicate and understand each other outside the confines of my office. At the same time, I want to empower each member to grow together. In the words of Virginia Satir, “We get together on the basis of our similarities; we grow on the basis of our differences”.
